xpac_analytics_delivery_blocking

Filter · 2 arguments · 2 call sites

Filters whether provider delivery waits for the provider's reply.

Delivery runs on shutdown. Where the client can be released first — PHP-FPM and LiteSpeed — waiting costs the visitor nothing and is what makes an expired credential or a retired API version visible at all. Where it cannot, shutdown still runs before the response is finished, so waiting would put the delivery timeout back into the page load. Force it on only if you know the request is already detached from the visitor, such as a cron or WP-CLI run.

apply_filters( 'xpac_analytics_delivery_blocking', Dispatcher::canReleaseClient(), Addon::ID )
  • $blocking (bool) — Whether to wait for the reply.
  • $provider (string) — Provider add-on id.
